It’s all about freedom and abandon! My garments are an ode to the short-lived freedom of the 1970’s disco era. After the Vietnam War, Watergate, and the ongoing Civil Rights conflict that American’s were enduring, people just wanted to dance, wear sparkly clothes and make-up and let their inner selves be free. Each night, clubs would open their doors, and patrons of all types could dance the night away. My clothes were inspired by the fashions of the disco era and the desire to have that freedom of abandon again during these pandemic times.
